Ordering
Can I edit or cancel my order?
We begin processing orders quickly. If you need to change or cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible and we’ll do our best to help. Once an order has been fulfilled or shipped, we’re unable to make changes.
Do you offer gift notes?
Yes. You can add a complimentary gift message at checkout, or upgrade to an elegant ivory note card for $3 in your cart. We do not include pricing on packing slips.
Can I include multiple shipping addresses in one order?
At this time, each order ships to one address. If you’re sending gifts to multiple recipients, please place a separate order for each address.
Can I schedule an order for a future delivery date?
Yes. You can select a preferred delivery date using the date picker in your cart. We will do our best to meet your requested date, but delivery dates are not guaranteed and remain subject to processing time, carrier transit, and weather or service delays.
Please note: we cannot deliver on Sundays, Mondays, or national holidays. For time-sensitive gifts, we recommend choosing a faster shipping method and placing your order early whenever possible.

We occasionally share seasonal offers and early access through our email list. The best way to stay informed is to subscribe.

No. ValerieConfections.com is shipping only. Pickup orders must be placed at www.valerieglendale.com
I placed a shipping order but meant to pick up—what should I do?

Are promotions from ValerieConfections.com valid for cake and bakery orders?
No. Promotions offered on ValerieConfections.com apply to orders placed on ValerieConfections.com only and are not valid for cake or bakery orders placed through www.valerieglendale.com
Shipping & Delivery
When will my order ship?
Orders typically ship the next business day, or as soon as possible, depending on order volume and seasonality. During peak periods, processing times may extend up to several days.
How can I expedite my shipping?
Available shipping speeds are shown at checkout. If you are ordering for a specific date, we recommend placing your order early whenever possible.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship within the United States and Canada through our website. For all other international destinations, please contact us directly with your destination and desired delivery window, and we’ll confirm availability and a shipping quote.
Will my chocolate melt in transit?
We take warm-weather shipping seriously and pack orders to protect quality in transit, including insulated materials and ice packs when conditions require. While chocolate is naturally heat-sensitive and carrier delays or extreme temperatures can impact deliveries, our packaging is designed to minimize melt risk. If your order arrives warm, softened, or damaged, please contact us as soon as possible (ideally within 48 hours of delivery) and include photos of the box and contents so we can assist promptly.
How do I track my order?
Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information. You can also track your shipment using the link provided in your confirmation and shipping emails.
What should I do if my order hasn’t arrived?
Please check your tracking link first for the most current carrier updates. If your tracking shows an exception, or if there has been no movement for an extended period, contact us and we will help investigate.
What if the carrier says my address is incorrect or undeliverable?
Please double-check unit numbers, zip codes, and building access details at checkout. If a package is returned to us or can’t be delivered due to an address issue, we can reship once we have a confirmed address. Carrier address correction charges and/or a reshipment fee may apply. We’ll confirm any fees with you in advance.
My order says “delivered” but I don’t see it—what should I do?
Please check around your delivery area and with neighbors/building staff first. If you still can’t locate it, contact us right away so we can assist with next steps.

Where are your chocolates made?
Our chocolates are handcrafted in Glendale, California.
How should I store my order?
Chocolates should be stored in a cool, dry place away from heat and direct sunlight. Petits fours should be refrigerated.
How long do your chocolates stay fresh?
For best quality, we recommend enjoying our products within the following timeframes:
- Petits fours (refrigerated): best within 2–3 weeks
- Truffles: best within 2–3 months
- Toffee: best within 4–5 months
How can I learn about allergens?
Our kitchen handles common allergens including dairy, eggs, wheat, peanuts, and tree nuts. We cannot guarantee allergen-free products. If you have a severe allergy or specific concern, please contact us before ordering.
Do you use alcohol in any products?
Yes—some of our chocolates contain alcohol as an ingredient. If you have any concerns or dietary restrictions, please contact us before ordering and we’ll help you choose appropriately.
Do you have vegan, gluten-free, or sugar-free options?
We may offer select products that fit certain dietary preferences, but we are not an allergen-free facility. If you are shopping with dietary restrictions, please contact us and we will advise based on current offerings.

Do you offer corporate gifting?
Yes. For corporate gifting, large orders, or dropshipping requests, please contact us with your timeline, quantities, and destination details.
Do you take custom orders or wedding favors?
We can accommodate select custom and event requests depending on seasonality and production capacity. Please contact us with your date, quantity, and any details, and we will confirm what is possible.
Do you offer volume discounts?
Volume pricing may be available for qualifying orders over $500. Please contact us with your items, quantities, timeline, and ship-to locations, and we’ll confirm availability and pricing.
Do you wholesale your products?
Yes. Our wholesale catalog is available on Faire. If you have questions about availability, lead times, or placing a larger order, please contact us and we’ll help.
Returns, Replacements, & Refunds
Do you accept returns?
Because our products are perishable food items, all sales are final and we cannot accept returns.
What if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?
If something arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photos of the box and items. We’ll make it right.
