Shipping

If you need to place an order for rush delivery, or if you have any questions about when your package will be delivered, please contact us at shop@valerieconfections.com.


Availability

The website lists all of the products that are normally available online from Valerie Confections. From time to time, products may be out of stock or otherwise unavailable. We will attempt to notify you by email within two (2) business days of the ship date should such a case arise. If we are unable to contact you, we will adjust the billing as appropriate.

Valerie Confections retains the right to substitute items of similar or greater value at no extra cost to the purchaser.


Shipping Terms

Orders generally require 24 hours to process. We ship Monday through Friday, with delivery Tuesday through Saturday. Orders received after 1 PM on Friday may ship the following Monday. Please call directly for rush orders or any questions regarding shipping schedules.

You must provide a valid street address for your order, including apartment numbers, suites, or floor numbers. We are not responsible for delays resulting from incorrect or undeliverable addresses.

Shipped orders do not require a signature for delivery and will be left at the delivery address if no one is available to receive the package. Valerie Confections guarantees that all chocolates and confections will arrive without melting regardless of the destination’s temperature. Our specialized packaging ensures that your order is protected from heat during transit.

We cannot ship to P.O. Boxes.

We now offer shipping to:

  • All U.S. destinations, including warm-weather regions, with our no-melt guarantee
  • Canada
  • Select international destinations upon request

No delivery is available on these national holidays or the day immediately following them. Additional blackout dates may apply.

We ship via FedEx using the following services:

  • Overnight
  • 2nd Day Air
  • Ground/Home Delivery

We also offer:

  • Next-day shipments
  • Shipping to multiple addresses

Important Note: While we ensure our packages are protected from heat, we are not responsible for delays caused by FedEx due to weather or mechanical errors and cannot offer refunds in those cases.


Shipping Rates

Shipping and handling charges apply to each address where an order is shipped, based on current FedEx rates. Shipping costs will be automatically calculated during checkout.

Between May 1 and October 15, we use 2nd Day Air and Next Day Air to maintain product integrity. Higher rates and an additional surcharge for insulated packaging may apply during these months.


Tracking Your Shipment

Once your order ships, you’ll receive an email with tracking information directly from FedEx. If there are any unexpected delays while your package is in transit, you’ll receive an additional notification.
